When we first met with Emily & Zak we instantly fell in love with these two! You can see and feel their connection right away. Zak was a groomsmen at the wedding of one of our other favorite couples, Julia & Eric - a few years back - and now it is Zak’s turn to say “I Do.” They wanted to have their engagement session at Hansen Tree Farm, in Ramsey MN and they couldn’t have chosen a better place for this milestone photo session! The weather was 45 degrees, sunny and absolutely beautiful for the end of February. There was still snow on the ground, and it had a cozy yet refreshing vibe at this beautiful natural environment, filled with tall pines in one spot and endless rows of smaller pine trees in another. We could have spent all day here, just basking in the beauty of God’s creation all around us, with this wonderful couple. However, nothing was more beautiful than the fun, adventure and love that these two incredible souls share for with another. We had so much fun photographing Emily & Zak, that long after we left the tree farm, we had smiles on our faces for days! Seriously . . . we hit the jackpot in being able to get to know, and spend quality time with these amazing human beings.
